2003 – The 1st Annual Grilled Cheese Invitational!
The 1st Annual Grilled Cheese Invitational was held in Theorylabs in downtown Los Angeles, CA on February 16, 2003.
Before there were trophies, before there were categories, before there was blood thirsty competition, there was the 1st Annual Grilled Cheese Invitational. This event started as a Sunday night event amongst friends in an Artist Loft in downtown Los Angeles.
The initial email was more of a threat, a throw down amongst friends, to see who had what it takes to be a grilled cheese champion.
